Fabulous all original large 1930s Bakelite statement brooch in a curvy asymmetrical ellipse shape with a cut out in the centre. Looks like an abstract eye, very unusual with lots of impact! The translucent root beer colored Bakelite looks like Baltic amber and has darker feathering throughout adding to the surreal effect. The brooch has a pegged in pin back (not glued) and a rollover clasp. Fabulous statement piece hailing from the Art Deco era!
