This striking modernist silver brooch, titled Kokkatarha, was designed by Finnish artist Paula Häiväoja for Kalevala Koru. It features an abstract, sculptural design inspired by mid-century forms and organic Nordic minimalism. Häiväoja, who served as Kalevala Koru’s first female head designer (1963–1968), was known for her ultra-modern silver jewelry featuring clean forms, moving parts, and light-reflecting surfaces.
